What can you stake on Yoroi?
How to stake on Yoroi
Install Yoroi
Get the extension from yoroi-wallet.com or the iOS/Android app. Create a wallet, back up the 15-word recovery phrase.
Receive ADA
Withdraw ADA from a CEX to your Yoroi receive address. The first deposit triggers the small staking deposit (refundable).
Delegate to a stake pool
Open the Delegation List, search for a pool by ticker, and click Delegate. Rewards appear after 2–3 epochs and compound automatically.
Yoroi staking — common questions
Yoroi vs Daedalus — what's the difference?
Daedalus runs a full Cardano node (slower, more decentralized). Yoroi is a light client that talks to EMURGO's backend (faster, slight trust assumption). Both are non-custodial.
Can I switch stake pools?
Yes, anytime, with no penalty. Re-delegation is a single transaction; rewards from your current pool keep accruing through the next 2 epochs before the new pool takes over.
